We set off from Troyes buying bread, cheese, yogurt and a few other bits and pieces for our dinner that evening, despite a warning from LeShuttle that the government had banned returning with any dairy or met products because of foot and moth in Europe.
We had charged up the car at the hotel car park and so only had to stop once at St Quentin where we had previously charged up. We used Burger Kings toilet and then visited the local Flunch restaurant inside the shopping mall for a cup of coffee and then drove on.
We arrived at LeShuttle and had to wait in the queue for about forty five minutes in order to pass through the two different border control points. This had nothing to do with the new EU restrictions just wait of traffic. We picked up a sandwich and bag of crisps and then drove on having re-charged the car.
we waited and discovered a group of aged hells angels beside us in the queue waiting to travel.
Safely across the channel we made our way home but then made the mistake of leaving the M25 and going across country or should I say through the suburbs for the very last leg. This portion of the journey was the most tedious of our trip.
