Sunday 14th
Alex and family return to Seattle today. We all spend the morning lazing around the pool. Greg has the telly on to watch the sport and makes a lot of noise when Seattle Sea Hawks appear at 1:30.

The noise from Greg rises towards the end of the game as Seattle win a low scoring game 18-16. The Hawks have won without scoring a touchdown and just relying on their kicker.
The kids have messed around as well but have eventually packed their gear and around 4 pm the whole crew leave the house to catch their flight from Palm Springs home.
Shortly after thev’ve left Maggi and I take a long walk from the house down and and around the area. As we most things the Americans claim to do everything bigger and better than everyone else. Christmas lights are no exception. We passed this house with its very impressive LEGO like display.

When we returned we watched a Netflix film called called Knoves Out starring Daniel Craig. Craig overacts and has a cartoon like southern drawl. It is a murder mystery in the tradition of Agatha Christie, with a touch of humour. Both of fell asleep for parts of the film but that didn’t really matter. I’m sur we didn’t miss anything significant.
