After breakfast we left in the Exodus Bus driven by Freddy to the start of our 10 km walk in the National Park of Cahuita. The park borders the Caribbean Sea. We saw lots of wildlife on the way including two types of sloth (2 & 3 toed), two types of monkey (Howler & Capuchin), a variety of birds, insects and raccoons.

Towards the end we stopped and nearly all of us went for a swim. The temperature of the sea must have hit over 20° because entering the water seemed like wading into a bath. We splashed around for awhile enjoying the sensation of the odd cold current pass over.
Maggi and I left the rest of the party and headed back to the lodge. I wanted to watch the Arsenal v Sevilla match. This turned out to be impossible so I ended up listening to it on Radio 5. The gunners won 2-0.
The game over and Maggi and I walked into town where I bought a cable to charge up the camera, found a restaurant better than the average bean and rice place, and bought shampoo and a drink. All in different places. While Maggi and I sat and sipped our drinks four of the group turned up. We suggested they check out a couple of places. When we met them again we all sat down for a cocktail at a happy hour bar.
Once we had all drunk our fill we walked down the road to Las Olas where we all ate the fish with sauce. Much better meal than we have eaten since we have been in Costa Rica. Everyone happy and we walked home for a bit of reading at 9 pm.
