This morning I woke up and actually did some yoga, the first since we’ve been away. It pleased me that I had made the effort to stretch my body and to try and maintain a level of suppleness.
Maggi and I took the dog for a reasonable walk via a roundabout route to Ken’s Market to buy some oil. On arrival we found the shop shut. What made this worse was the fact that we had walked in the rain 5 minutes after we started.
Greg spent most of the day in the kitchen and thinking about all the other aspects of Christmas Day as well as the presents. Of course the presents had taken up a large amount of our time as we watched Carrie and Sadie open tons of different presents.
After the whole presents ceremony had finished I helped Sadie put together a karaoke speaker. System. Sadie seemed very keen on this present but later in the evening I found the mikes on the floor. These kids seem to have everything and don’t care of anything. I’m not sure if this is an old fashioned approach or not.

Around two Gail, Alan and their two daughters came over for Christmas lunch. Alan based on his heritage wore a kilt and sporran. I didn’t ask him if he was wearing underneath the kilt.
They are a very pleasant couple with a good sense of humour. I enjoyed their company. During the afternoon a local character, Kieran and his wife/partner arrived for an hour or so.
Greg, with a little help from Maggi produced the meal all in reasonable time which I itself is a major achievement. The food tasted really good with all the extras combined to hit the mark for a traditional meal.
Gail and Alan stayed until 9 ish and shortly afterwards Maggi and I left for bed. I noticed that Maggi coughed a lot.
