November 14th and Corcovado National Park

Another early start to look for animals and wildlife in Corcovado National Park. Breakfast at 5:30 for departure at 6:30. At the boat that carried us there we met our two guides for our trip ( and for the next day) Jose and Elia.

Jose spoke much better English than Elia but they both knew their plants and animals. The boat ride to our starting point in the park took about an hour and as we set off on our walk the heavens opened and we experienced our first tropical shower. The rain teemed down on us. I wore shorts and put on my rain jacket with the rucksack inside. On my feet I had open sandals so after awhile my feet had mud and slush all over them.

A video below and some pictures of what we found on our tour.
