After the usual morning ritual I attempted to check in with Austrian Airlines for Garry and my flight to Vienna. The process was harder than expected. I couldn’t check-in without previously checking in Garry, which required scanning his passport. The only resolution to this meant the two of us meeting up. We chose Costa Coffee in Northwood. My only thought amounted to – what a stupid system.
When I arrived at Costa Coffee and sat down with Garry we both discovered that you didn’t need to scan the passports you could just type the information into the Austrian Airlines app. This of course meant that the Austrians weren’t as stupid as I had previously thought and we could have completed the operation without meeting up. Anyway we both now have our boarding passes.
I decided to walk back to Pinner and I took the scenic route via northwood and Chaste Hill golf courses and the back way into Pinner to pick up my regular prescription from Gor. On arrival at home I felt a little bit knackered.
Afternoon – Vienna Trip Packing
Started packing for the Vienna trip. Maggi added her suggestions, showing she cares about the preparations and sometimes I agreed with her.
