Met Garry at Chesham station about 10:15 and after a bit of hesitancy around the beginning of the walk we set off.
Chesham Circular Walk

This is the start of damp underfoot and I bet the next time I go walking in the countryside I’ll need to wear my black boots. as you can see from the picture below it was an overcast day. The sun only came out when I returned to Pinner Station. However it didn’t rain and that was a relief. It was a 14.6 km walk with 250 m of ascent. Each ascent was short and fairly sharp as we climbed between several valleys on the chiltern hills.
We stopped for our coffee at a bench by the only bus stop in the village of Chartridge. It’s not a particularly pretty village although there are one or two old style cottages.
