Having agreed to meet Ray at 11 outside Northolt Station I ended up there far too early. The original plan had been to walk to Gor and chase up my prescription and then to take the bus from Pinner to Eastcote and the 282 to Northolt.
I ended up walking to Eastcote after I was told the prescription would take 30 minutes or so to organise. I ended up walking 12.5 miles.
Ray is always good company so I had a very enjoyable walk, not only because of his fine company, but due to the pleasant weather (for November) and the nature of the walk. Aprat from the beginning an end of the ramble the rest was very rural. Details of the walk can be found at shareyourroute.com
