We all set off for Tourette-sur-Loup for a tour of the village. For the first time we opened the car up so we had the roof down to let the sun shine on us all. We had been lucky enough to have a BMW soft top as our hire car by Avis. The man at the desk said it was the end of the season and they were very short of cars.
A nice walk around the village which looked as beautiful as ever in the winter sun. After we had made our normal tour and looked over the countryside towards the sea. Maggi and I returned home. Adam, Sarah and Alex stopped for a game of pool at the Cafe de Sport. Greg took off to Leclerc to buy dinner for the next day. I advised him to go to Grand Frais, but he ignored that. As a result he spent a lot longer at the shops.
Maggi and I prepared lunch for everyone and laid the table. All arrived back and we somehow managed to all sit around the table except Sorely who didn’t want to join us.
In the afternoon everyone walked to St Paul, except Maggi and I. We sauntered down to the village and had a coffee at St Eloi. We popped into our AirBnB to pick up my book and returned home.
Maggi cooked the beef joint we had bought a couple of days ago. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food. Some of us settled down to watch Holdovers starring Paul Giamatti and we managed it.
To celebrate the new year we didn’t all sing auld lang syne. Instead we all stood around the swimming pool and waited for Greg, Adam, Carrie, Sadie, Sorely and Finn jump in.

The all jumped in together and then rushed to get out. A few kisses and hugs all around and then Maggi and I returned to our temp accommodation.
