Dinner in town with Gill and Mark

  • by

In the morning I went to Tremona. No change in mum’s condition or circumstance. I then went over to Stillwater and Sachin wasn’t in and no-one knew anything about the seals we have ordered from them. They are useless.

Came home for lunch and half watched the Wales v Italy game. Wales thrashed the Italians.

I set off for town around 4:30 and walked from Baker Street to The Coachmaker’s Arms in Marylebone Lane. As I walked in I saw Mark. We chatted until the girls arrived which was about 15 minutes later.

We then walked down the road to the Relais De Venise where we queued outside until it opened at 6:30. We entered for the first sitting and had the usual. The only exception is that 3 of us had pudding.

Crème Caramel

Regretted the pudding later at night when I had indigestion.

They’re still queueing outside the Relais de Venise after we leave
